Who this coaching is for
Powerlifting coaching is useful long before you consider yourself a powerlifter. It gives your training a clear structure around the squat, bench press and deadlift, with decisions based on your technique, recovery and recorded progress.
Get Strong NI is aimed first at people who want to become stronger and may eventually compete. Existing competitors are welcome too, especially when the goal is to improve training quality or arrive at a meet with a clearer plan.
- You want to prepare for a first competition
- You want a stronger squat, bench and deadlift
- You already compete and want a more deliberate process
- You want serious strength training even if you never compete

What the coaching can include
The exact coaching offer is agreed with the coach rather than assumed by this website. A sensible match may involve ongoing programming, check-ins, video review and changes based on how training is moving.
For people around Greater Belfast, in-person or hybrid work may be possible. Competition-day support can also be discussed where the coach is available for the event and the logistics work.
- Individual programming and progression
- Technique feedback on training videos
- Meet preparation and attempt planning
- Online, in-person or hybrid contact
Matching without a pretend directory
Get Strong NI is an independent matching service, separate from any federation, gym or coach's personal brand. We do not publish invented profiles or qualifications.
The launch network is small. Suitable powerlifting and strength leads go to the current coach; out-of-scope requests are held for later instead of being forced into the wrong service.
